Volunteers Needed!
At Rutherford Housing Partnership (RHP), we believe that safe and healthy housing is a right for all. By volunteering with us, you can make a real difference in the lives of local families, seniors, and individuals who need help with home repairs and maintenance. Whether you’re skilled in construction, handy with a paintbrush, or simply willing to lend a hand, we have a place for you!
Our volunteers assist with a wide range of projects, from building wheelchair ramps to repairing roofs, and everything in between. No experience is necessary—just a willingness to help. Volunteering with RHP is also a great way to give back to the community, meet new people, and develop new skills.

We have so many opportunities at RHP. These are just a few of the many ways that you can be a part of our mission.
Construction Volunteers
Our construction volunteers help with RHP projects all across Rutherford County. These projects include: roofing, building/repairing decks and ramps, landscaping, painting/staining, bathroom modifications and more.
Construction Leaders
RHP can’t do the work we do without amazing crew leaders that help guide a project. If you have construction knowledge and are interested in leading small groups (2-3 people) of volunteers in building a ramp, installing grab bars, staining a deck or replacing a broken window, we need you!
Youth Volunteers
Is your youth or school group looking for a way to give back to the community? RHP would love to have your group come help one of our families.
Fundraising Volunteers
Volunteers that are interested in supporting RHP by helping us organize events and/or fundraisers help RHP in a unique and important way. Without these volunteers, it makes it harder for RHP to fund the projects that help change lives.
Photography Volunteers
Photography volunteers help us document the families that we helped and the projects that we have completed.
Office Support Volunteers
Administrative volunteers help us with many of the day-to-day tasks that help us keep our costs low so we can serve more of the community. They help with answering phones, data entry, office cleaning and more.
